In ancient Greek mythology Syringa was a nymph who turned herself into a lilac tree to hide from Pan, the God of forests and fields. The raw brass findings gleam in the sun and can be polished, or not, with a jewellery polishing cloth, as you wish.
The strong, solid brass ear wires fasten securely, and are lead, nickel, and cadmium free. Don't hesitate to get in touch if you require gold plated wires. My jewellery is beaded using reclaimed silk, conditioned with local beeswax. Alternatively, organic cotton is available for a totally vegan option.
