The ancient Roman Goddess of storms was Tempestas, after whom our 'Tempest' collection is named. Stainless steel is quickly becoming a highly popular choice among jewellery makers. It has long been valued for strength, shine, hygiene, and tarnish resistance. It can be endlessly recycled, and is considered one of the most sustainable and eco-friendly metals in common use. Its colour is very similar to sterling silver, and it is hard enough to be cut into the gossamer light shapes you see here… in fact, it is so strong it can be tricky to texture on our anvils, but my goodness its worth it. Our oldest anvil is around 150 years old, and its still going very strong! Individual earring weight 1.89g This collection is mounted onto silver plated ear wires as standard, with the additional option of solid sterling silver ear wires. Both are hypoallergenic, though for super sensitive ears we recommend opting for sterling silver. Earrings and ear wires can be easily replaced should you lose one, so do get in touch if you need anything.
